On July 21 2022, Pet Friends purchased 4.6 acres of land on the corner of Mars Hill Road and Slaughter Hollow Road where we plan to build our own shelter. It is a beautiful piece of land with easy access. 
Our volunteers are hard at work designing and budgeting our building. We promise not to let our goal of building a shelter get in the way of our mission of continuing to save as many animals as we can. The welfare of homeless and unwanted pets will always be our top priority.
